The Naschmarkt is a small world unto itself
Not far removed from Karlsplatz square, a market filled with countless stands, big and small, extends out along the Wien river (which is actually below ground at this point) and the U4 underground line.
The variety of culinary offerings - from Styrian apples to exotic foods from (virtually) every corner of the earth - leaves no wish unfulfilled. And hidden in-between, small snack bars invite you to stop and relax for a while. Jugendstil architecture has very much left its mark on this area, an area filled with galleries and gathering places for the young art scene. And every week on Saturday, the enormous car park next to the Naschmarkt is transformed into a colorful flea market.
A 7-minute walk from Hotel Tyrol.
