Included in the price
The prices are per room and day including the listed extras such as Nespresso machine incl. tabs, current daily newspapers, filled minibar, an evening bedtime treat as well as free Wi-Fi, free use of steam bath and sauna, all duties and taxes.
Discounts for children
Children from 0 to 6 stay free of charge in their parents' room (only possible in the studio).
Between 7 and 12 years they pay 25% of the double room rate. Maximum occupancy per room: 1 child and 2 adults
Cancellation conditions
Every room reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival (2 days before arrival until 6.00 pm) (depending on the rate booked). If the room is not cancelled in time or if you do not arrive without prior cancellation (no-show), we will charge the cost of the first night to your credit card.
Terms of payment
We ask you to guarantee your booking by providing your credit card with expiry date. At the time of your booking, this card will be pre-authorised for the amount of the first night, i.e. the amount will be reserved on your credit card. On departure we accept Visa, Diners, Amex, Eurocard/Mastercard, JCB, ATM and cash payment.
Parking facilities
Parking: Garage parking spaces are available in the underground car park at Museumsquartier (Museumsplatz 1). It is best to park near the Mariahilfer Straße exit. There you can take the lift directly to the beginning of the shopping street and from there it is a 3-minute walk to the hotel.
During the night and on Sundays, you can park your car on the street free of charge. From Monday to Saturday, between 9.00 am and 10.00 pm, the short-stay parking zone in the city centre is subject to a charge. Detailed information is available at reception.
What you don't need to take with you
Travel light, because there's plenty waiting for you in your room and bathroom! First-class body care products: Hand soap, shower gel, hair shampoo, hair conditioner, body milk and nail file. If you have forgotten your toothbrush or shaving kit at home, we will be happy to help you at reception. You can borrow umbrellas from reception at any time.

When can I move into my room? And how long can I stay in my room on the day of departure?
Check-in is from 2.00 pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage at reception. If your room is already ready, we will be happy to check you in earlier. We request that you check out by 12.00 noon. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us after check-out until your departure. For an extra charge and subject to availability, we also offer late check-out after 12.00 noon.
Is there a breakfast buffet at the hotel?
No, we serve our breakfast directly to your table. With us, you can enjoy a breakfast that is freshly prepared according to your wishes.
Are there opportunities for lactose and gluten intolerance, wheat flour allergy or diabetics?
Our breakfast team will be happy to cater to your individual needs. Please let us know before you arrive so that we can take your wishes into account.
When can I have breakfast?
Our à la carte breakfast is available daily from 7:00 to 11:30 am. For early departures, we are happy to spoil you with an "earlybird breakfast package". Tell us what you would like to have for breakfast. We will put together the breakfast package according to your wishes. It will be ready for you at reception on the day of departure.
What is the easiest way to get to you from the airport?
We offer both pick-up from and transfer to the airport: Journey time approx. 30 minutes. If you would like to be picked up from the airport, please let us know your arrival time and flight number. Of course you can also come to us by public transport - either with the Schellbahn (S7) or the CAT (cityairporttrain) from the airport to Wien Mitte / Landstraße railway station. Take the underground line U3 (orange) in the direction of Ottakring and get off at "Neubaugasse" station. Take the "Kirchengasse" staircase. From there it is a 7-minute walk to our hotel. In total, you will need about 45 minutes by public transport, with the City Airport Train about only half the time.
How do I get my boarding passes?
Our reception will be happy to assist you with online check-in. If you have already checked in online, simply send us your boarding passes by e-mail. We will be happy to print them out for you at reception.
How do I get to the hotel by car?
If you are travelling by car, the nearest car park is at the Museumsquartier.

How long do I have to cancel my room?
Depending on the agreement made, you can still cancel your reservation free of charge. If you do not arrive without cancelling in time (no show) or if you cancel your booking too late, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of the first night to your credit card.
How do I pay for my room?
You can pay your invoice in CASH, by EC card or by credit card - VISA, AMEX, DINERS, JCB and MASTERCARD.
Can I smoke in my room or in the hotel?
All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. The entire hotel is non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony of your studio room.
How does the air conditioning system work?
The air conditioning in each room can be regulated by the guest during the summer months.
Can the window be opened?
If you want fresh air, you can open the window. The air conditioning switches off automatically.
Can the room be darkened?
Our decorative curtains offer protection from unwanted light because their reverse side has a black-out coating.
Is there allergy-friendly bedding?
Allergy-friendly bed linen and blankets are available on request.
Is the hotel entrance also open at night?
You can get in and out of the hotel around the clock. Of course, our reception is also staffed around the clock.
Is there a laundry, ironing and cleaning service?
We will be happy to bring an ironing board and iron to your room. We do not offer a cleaning service at the moment.

Regular service: Drop off by 11am, return by 11am the next day.
Express service (extra charge): Drop off by 11am, return between 5pm and 7pm.
Laundry left at the weekend will be collected on Monday and returned on Monday evening. No service on public holidays.
How can I borrow a bike?
Our reception will help you with bike hire. Unfortunately, it is not possible to leave or park these bikes in our hotel.
Is there a luggage storage room?
You can leave your luggage free of charge at reception before check-in on the day of arrival or after check-out on the day of departure.
Are hot drinks available in the room?
There is a Nespresso machine in all our rooms. We are happy to provide you with a kettle on request.
How far is it to Stephansplatz?
You can reach Stephansplatz by foot in just 20 minutes.
Lunch and dinner at and around the hotel?
Viennese cuisine, pizza, pasta, sushi or pho - whatever you fancy, we will be happy to recommend the best restaurants near the hotel - including those with in-room delivery service.
Safety for you and your family members travelling with you
The hotel fulfils all local regulations and safety guidelines. We can also help you with health problems by organising a doctor and assistance from a pharmacy.
Which power connection do I need for my electrical appliances?
Generally 220 V. If you need an adapter, simply ask at reception. You can also borrow chargers for mobile phones. If you still have a question that has not been answered here, simply write to us at: reception@das-tyrol.at
What do I need to bear in mind if I am travelling with large luggage?
Our room sizes correspond to the European 4-star standard. However, they only offer limited space for several large suitcases. If you have more than 2 large items of luggage, please unpack your suitcases. You are welcome to store your empty suitcases in our lockable luggage depot free of charge until your departure. Of course, there is also space in our luggage depot for full suitcases that you do not need during your stay in our hotel.
